Is it over already?

I finished my last day.  I am amazed at how quickly it went.  It was such a great experience, and at the same time, so happy that I am now one step closer to becoming a registered nurse.   I have putting a lot of thought into furthering my education recently, and there are many RN to BSN programs as well as some RN to MSN programs.  I am very interested in both, but I am a little scared about MORE school.   I have absolutely every intention of obtaining my Master's degree.

Here's my thought.  If I decide to do RN to BSN, then my goal is to have my BSN by fall 2011.  This gives me a full two years to obtain it.  Some RN to BSN programs are 1 year, some are 2 years and many are 18 months.  I am extremely interested in Chamberlain University.  it is a one year program (3 semesters through the summer), and it would cost me about $16,000, which is not that much.  I guess what i need to do is do some research on accreditations, transferability of courses should i go for my Master's (another reason why going straight through to my Master's makes more sense) as well as cost and time to completion.

The College Network (Regis University) has an RN to MSN online.  I will have to look at that after I get my RN license (nobody really wants to talk to you unless you have this).
